Shanduke McPhatter
Founder / CEO of G.M.A.C.C.

National Gang Specialist and Youth Advocate Shanduke McPhatter is no stranger to the street life or mentality. Growing up in foster care, and later, a single parent home of 5, Shanduke’s childhood was bleak with a future destined for failure.

First incarcerated at the age of 16, this Brooklyn native soon became one of the first members of the New York Bloods; rising quickly to the ranks of ‘OG’. Known by his street moniker “Trife Gangsta”, Shanduke would find himself immersed in a lifestyle of crime, fast money, violence, & prison sentences.

This fast life soon stops, after Shanduke is wrongly charged for murder in 2003 and held for almost two years on NYC Rikers Island.  Not until a Lie detector test is administered by The Brooklyn D.A office which proved his innocence, is Shanduke set free.

After transforming his lifestyle, Shanduke now acts as the Executive Director and Founder of the 501 (c) 3 nonprofit Gangstas Making Astronomical Community Changes Inc. (G-M.A.C.C.).  Founding the organization with his brothers James and Edgar McPhatter, G-M.A.C.C. acts as a voice and a vessel for the young and misguided. By connecting the street soldiers and scholars to the community, G-M.A.C.C has helped high-risk youths overcome the very same challenges they all once faced.

From working with the formerly incarcerated, to working with the high-risks youths, G-M.A.C.C. Inc. is dedicated to changing the lives of the misguided through education, motivation, healthy living, and knowledge.
